I don't know anything about the interviewee, Willem Middelkoop. What I did find interesting was the chart he showed at the beginning of the interview, which shows a "record undervaluation for Canadian listed exploration companies (Toronto Stock Exchange Venture Index - CDNX) Performance against the CRB-commodity index" (the chart and that text can be found at his twitter page, posted 5 June).
Also of interest is his comments about the TSXV starting at 6:30 "...the Canadian market is, in a way, a bit broken...we are really critical of the Canadian regulators...". Also around 10 mins "...the Toronto Stock Exchange index, where the smaller companies are listed, really has a problem we just discussed and there are too many insiders playing these markets and trying to rip off investors and it's the retail investor that is scared away..."
