So why would they be doing dodgy deals when under an ASIC investigation? If ASIC haven’t found anything by now, they won’t find anything. Even if they do, so what, HCT cops a fine. Ford copped one of the biggest fines ever handed down in Australia over their crappy gearboxes, $10 million... to put that into context, Ford spent $4 on an executive Christmas party the year before.
So why would they be doing dodgy deals when under an ASIC...
