Market Update Overseas markets were up mildy on Friday after a few green sessions. SPI futures are at +18. Here is a summary of the weeks data courtesy of Business Spectator... "The week ahead brings a solid mix of key economic indicators from both home and overseas. In local news, lending finance data, housing starts and the Reserve Bank of Australia’s quarterly bulletin are on tap. Offshore, consumer inflation figures dominate the week in the United States, while the producer price index is also due. Elsewhere, the Federal Reserve will hold its September policy meeting and China will release a suite of key data. In company news, Sigma Pharmaceuticals and Myer Holdings will release earnings results, while a number of companies will go ex-dividend. Finally, the Queensland government will release its budget for the 2013 financial year."
