SPX for 1986 - 87 and have a look at the rally that started from the low on 31/12/86. Same date as our present rally low. And the prior low was 19/11 in '86 and now it is 16/11 which was a Friday so closer that it seems. Prior to that we have a switch for highs and lows with '86 having a high on 5/9 and a low on 16/9 whereas '12 had a low on 4/9 and the high on 14/9.
The rally in early '87 lasted 97 days before a pullback, a favourite of his Lordship. I've been looking at 90 days from November low (this Wednesday) but perhaps it is 90 from 31/12 low. Either way, no evidence the move is done as it stands today.
