IMO, the potential down side to the AU$ makes most aussie stocks pigs to be slaughtered, blue chip, high yield or not.
For me, last week marked a tipping point, with a large spike in the VIX one day, and a commodity complex which sold off when the Dow was nudging all time highs. Copper was particularly of note, it has stoicly held above 8k for sometime but fell substantially last week.
Sentiment: proceed with extreme caution.
