It could be one of the transaction options on the table that PCF is shortlisting. We'll know soon enough I suppose. Barrick have been selling high cost gold mines over the last 12 months, around 8 or 9 from what i could find on Google, so if they sold Porgera, it would give them some cash to use for Mt Kare.

They have shown interest in the past though. Below from Keith Goode's Eagle Research on Mt Kare.

The two days that Keith Goode was at Mt Kare, conducting his research, Barrick Gold helicopters flew over Mt Kare on both days....so they are keeping an eye on IDC's progress.



Personally I'd rather Rodan and ACM drill the cr&* out of Mt Kare and lift the Grade and Resource then build the mine around that!
