You might be right that they'd have to acid stimulate this well in the end. Did previous wells have acid wash or acid frac stimulation?
'Good permeability to gas' would suggest the well could flow without the help of acid. It's possible that they could have hit a sweet spot. This means both flow rate and reserves are more likely to be higher. Wells that need acid stimulation tend to have lower gas recovery.
At this stage, with limited well test data published by Hardman, I'd keep an open mind.
