Since posting a possible link between CPC and HDR I have talked to the new CEO.
He is looking for deals with producing wells,this may leave HDR out of consideration for its big play overseas . The CEO was non commitral on specefics but when challenged to retun funds to shareholders as there was no activity for 3 years, he said that the next month things would be different.
Any Oil deal willbe put to shareholders for approval---he has to do this if its a JV with Westgold.
No fire lit yet but a bit of stirring (encouragement by shareholders would help).
D Hill has not had a winner for a long time and CPC could be the one . It was his brokers that took out the sellers yesterday.
