Your revelation re Ted Ellyard's options sale absolutely shocks. For all that this man gets the kudos (which should go to the WPL team) Ellyard seems to have no concern whatsoever about the results of his actions on the poor suffering shareholders.
For someone who got terribly burned financially when he blithely (albeit technically correct) announced to the world that the great Chinguetti well was finished drilling and would now be "capped and abandoned" (The collapse and rise of the HDR sp is now unforgettable history) his latest disregard of the results of his share actions to the market speaks volumes.
Anne, can I add my voice to the appeal to get the ASA to put pressure on ASIC to investigate these HDR directors please ? Perth is too far away for the great majority.
These guys simply accept as operator Woodside decides -It is WPL that have the knowhow not the HDR directors. Their prioritory seems to be how to enrich their own situation. I feel fed up.
