In my opinion there is no doubt that SP is taking a very conservative approach nowadays. After all we are talking about the oil industry where murphies law thrives. Whilst Woodies as the operator must take responsibility for having st#ffed up Ching, SP our fearless leader has not escaped the Ching debarcle unscathed...and accordingly this has impacted on his new found style.
Given the glaring and obvious understatement of Uganda recoverables leads me to wonder whether he is also understating the time frame for successful completion of Guyane farmin negotiations. It was quoted as 'a number of months' ...wouldn't it be nice if that in fact turned out to be say only 4 to 6 weeks... with some juicy drilling news included. I wouldn't be at all surprised, but then it is purely conjecture on my behalf.
It's about time pendulum swung back in our favour.
All the best
