If Chinguetti is filled to "spill point" which chinguetti-4-2 further seems to indicate is possible then it would be extremly unlikly that there are not others structure which also trapped oil.. Back in the kitchen days when oil was being produced from the source rocks oil would have migrated under a period window of time. What is required is that the necessary "trap" required to capture and hold some of this migrating oil was in place prior to the oil migrating past these traps.. In the case of Chinguetti this was clearly the case so it could be inferred that the geolical time at which the uplift of the salt-dome caused the necessary forming of the "trap" was the least time required for a "trap" to be in place.. WPL/HDR would also have migration modelled the surrounding traps around Chinguetti using Monti-Carlo simulations and should have a reasonable idea whether the risks are acceptable and warrant spending $16+million on Banda or not. The expanse of information that they would have at hand in forming risk-based decisions would be enormous compared to the crumbs of information they have released to the market.

If Banda hits it will be HUGE, and IMHO the share price will never be under $2-3 again. Watch the share price of the next 2-weeks since it should start factoring this in.

    Regards
