Only problem with too much oil coming to the surface is if it is reducing pressure in Res or if it is bringing sand up with it? Surely these guys would start with a real small choke after the initial open flow and screen as they knew sand was a prob then would use larger ones if no problems as they investigated if there was sand inflow etc. Someone with more current big project tech knowledge please comment as it may be different on this scale of equipment , depth etc?
