To indicate that HDR may have associated containment risks is not to say there are mysterious granites that HDR projects do not exhibit, to their detriment.

It simply addresses the issue of water retention capabilities, and, as is common knowledge, not all geological units retain water, especially under the pressure applied across granite at depth. To me, until I see evidence of the granites' ability to operate as a closed system, the risk will be there.
