The bit trip woulcn't be for the bit but to take the mud motor out of the BHA to get the MWD closer the bit. The MWD measures Gamma from the formation and will give you first indication that you are in the reservior, at 2400m+ sample circulation would take over 2 hrs. By taking the motor out you advance that gamma 15m closer to the bit, Each joint of drip pipe is 28.8m, probably take around 2 days round trip,
