The sudden alledged "involvement" of MEL into ICAC as referred by Anthony Roberts is a huge mistake IMO. It's ironic to hear him mention that he "abided by the law" regards to the crusises and lunches.
Was he seeking an easy way out? a diversion? or based on special info from the Bentley blockade reps last week?
Using ICAC and the drama from OCSG on the same day, will these events come back to bite him? Hard I hope! That's why MEL shoud seek compensation as said by PH on ABC Radio. All IMO

ENERGY Minister Anthony Roberts’ “euphoria” about a holiday on a developer’s luxury yacht in Queensland’s Whitsunday’s led him to request it be an annual event, according to documents tendered to ICAC.
Mr Roberts joined former energy minister Chris Hartcher and one-time MP Andrew Humpherson on a yacht owned by the Gazal family in 2007.
An email from Mr Humpherson to Mr Hartcher on September 1, 2008, said: “How is our friend Nabil (Gazal) — its almost a year since we had that great weekend — I assume the euphoria of Anthony (Roberts) suggesting it should be annual has not been actioned.”
ICAC was yesterday investigating allegations the Gazal-controlled Gazcorp funnelled $137,000 through EightByFive, a sham company set up by former NSW minister Chris Hartcher’s ex-staffer Tim Koelma.
Premier Mike Baird said during Question Time yesterday that Mr Roberts had his full support, while Mr Roberts told parliament he had “abided by the law”.
They included former attorney- general Greg Smith and his lobbyist son Nat, Mr Roberts, Mr Hartcher, former police minister Michael Gallacher, right-wing upper house powerbroker David Clarke and MP for the Entrance Chris Spence.
