The mind boggles. I suffered a very mild stoke about seven years ago. This involved one MRI scan. Then I agreed to participated in a study.
The study included five further MRI scans and involved (from memory) in excess of 100 participants with similar issues - all of this in Melbourne alone.
What struck me during these scans was the sheer size of the machine, the complexity of the installation (estimated by IBX at USD1million), the number of patients affected by this problem and thus having scans; and the difficulty of booking a slot to have it done.
So the math is simple, if the IBX approach is found to be a success.
