"Uranoz Limited (“Uranoz”) is pleased to advise that Dr Bertus de Graaf has now taken up his position as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Uranoz. The appointment follows the recent acquisitions of Scopenergy Pty Ltd and Panax Geothermal Pty Ltd.
The Company intends to immediately transfer its head office from Sydney to Brisbane and will recruit a small management team to actively advance its geothermal interests both in Australia and internationally.
As part of these developments, the Company is pleased to announce that Mr. Kerry Parker will be appointed as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of the ‘new’ Uranoz with effect from 1 November 2007. Kerry has had an extensive career in the resource development industry, and has previously worked in senior finance and company secretarial positions with Downer EDI, Ross Mining N.L. as well as CH4 Gas Limited. (including the IPO preparation as well as the ASX listing). Until earlier this month, Kerry held the position of Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of Arrow Energy N.L., a prominent Queensland based coal bed methane production and development company.
In the immediate future the Company will advance its unique Limestone Coast Geothermal Project, located in the Otway basin, northwest of Mt Gambier in South Australia, as well as its international interests in both India and Kyrgyzstan."
