At current iron ore prices and extremely competitive road freight rates MMX can mine and transport and make good profits as alluded to in the Ferret article.
They are 'doers' not 'talkers' and that is the key difference.
Look at Portman - trucking ore from Windarling for $5 tonne. They obviously threw all their plans to build rail and it's huge capital cost out the window when BGC gave them a price --
Likewsie MMX can truck competitively -- But of course if iron ore prices were to retreat to old prices than that is a different story --
