Just into my 30s, in my lifetime i.e. over the next 30 years (hopefully) surely banks will get back to levels of $30 - $35 at some stage. They may operate very differently but they will exist in some form or another. Anything below $25 in my opinion is a good buy for people who have the luxury of age on their side. Collect dividends over the next 10 or 15 years and may be not get too greedy when you see the next highs (easy to say, hard to do).
Of course there is a possibilty technology will completely change the way banks operate and only those that will change with technology will remain and will buy those that resist change.
