    I am certain you both have missed an obvious "something"!!
    Items 4 & 5, totalling $23. are NOT cash outlays,they are legitimate"book keeping/accounting" entries that neither detract from nor enhance the cash flows......They do.however reduce "book" profits and,hence,the amounts payable to Government,for taxes!!

    This subject arose approx. this time last year!
