What you say sounds good on paper but AMP have such a top heavy structure that I think it will take some time. Not sure if Murray or the other old boys have the moxy or the energy to do the required clean out. Do you know that AMP have managers on $200kpa who also have second jobs? I mean, it is truly stunning!
What is further frustrating is that years of poor management is being papered over as market conditions and the Royal Commission. I hope and pray for the long term shareholders in AMP but the truth is that theyre in for another 5 years of circa $3 share pricing (if it survives).
