Have to agree with that sentiment Monkey but while our realestate has had a bubble it's one sustaining fact is there is a shortage of housing in Aus.
Some yank was out here recently (Channel 7) saying we may not believe it but our prices will halve and the property bubble will collapse. In the States there was an abundant oversupply of housing because of all the rorting going on with the bank loans as you would know. However here its a different story as it always has been. Property has always been a good hedge in Oz and will continue to do so. As for LYC...same deal, worldwide undersupply of RE. Regardless of the SP atm it has a bright future IMHO.
