I do believe that there appears no obstacle to the permit being granted - though anything can happen as we all know. Still, I will take the view that it will be granted.
You make a good point with timing - the hearings may take a few days and then successful permit application announced. Can't imagine that would take longer.
If the permit is granted, then there should be no delay in announcing it. All companies on the ASX have a obligation to release market sensitive announcemnets to the market.
