Hope floats, it's a mars bar in a swimming pool, you hope it's a mars bar but you still don't get into the swimming pool depending on your risk appetite. Note hope then is based on risk, which is defined not as an asperation, but as a possibility based on probability, not a dream or an unknown, dreams have no logic to them other than desire and maybe that's enough. However your stated hope is for a 150m mc with no results so I don't think we are talking hope here but rather an asperational goal. Asperations are dreams, illusions, or delusion in some cases. The market is fickle, so this may occur, DEG, VUL are evidence to that so please don't here me saying you are wrong or these things may not come to pass, I'm just pointing out the that hope should be equated with risk and dreams with delusion.
