'Normal' non-news day variation is +/- 0.003 at best. Today 0.006.
Did a bunch of people over the weekend suddenly become aware that a BNL permit is pending? Hardly.
All rhetorical questions of course .. neither of us will ever be able to answer, but what is certain ... this morning's bump is not based on an ASX announcement.
I've recent experience of a true 'pump and dump' stock (88E) and lucky to get out of that one the last pump phase with my shirt (minus a sleeve or two). BNL is a completely different proposition and i'm very clear-eyed about that, so i don't think i'm missing any raison d'etres here.
My point is that i'd be far happier to see a 10% rise on announcement than today's bump out of the blue. Those tend to disappear tommorrow.
