Indeed … happen to be in a seperate ‘discussion’ on another stock around my experiences with COH (made heaps back in the day but they lost the odd IP lawsuit along the way too) … and about the time was into them, along with all other holders totally lost my shirt on ABC Learning, which actually went criminal (where are you Fast Eddie?) and totally underwater.
Very lucky to have landed on my feet this time around with BNL and a couple of others but gee with my BP on suicide watch I wouldn’t care to do this stuff for a living.
Many treat shares as an ‘asset’ and of course even banks take them as security to a degree, but really it’s money totally at risk … a trading halt and a bit of terminal news and can all be gorn in a day.
BNL a totally different kettle of smoked salmon of course.
