ASX falling like a stone - DOW was down almost 600 points overnight so expect a more than 100 point drop today - and about 70 points down already.
One thing about BNL that does surprise me (and there have been just 16 trades this morning), is that Helium is still a strategic resource and the permit should be granted (OK, nothing guaranteed but there does not seem to be any obvious obstacles left) in about 4 weeks. I know people get spooked by these down periods and others may need cash badly, but selling at this point seems somewhat perplexing. The permit should seriously - and positively - affect the SP. 4 weeks of patience seems to me the best way to deal with the current situation. Which seems to be energy related and a large portion of the DOW is energy based - ASX is mineral based of course. We seem to be following the DOW for some reason but these down periods pass and then we get rapid positive periods.
My portfolio has had two very bad days but I will definitely keep all of my BNL shares and the SP gets a bit lower, I may consider getting more today.
