You gotta give credit where it is due. I learnt from him and now use his principles to look for my own investments and also invest in what he reccommends.
Like you, some of the picks he has provided has changed my standard of living !!
Now I only look at the Aussie recommendations as NZ is too difficult/ small/ not transparent enough to worry about.
