    I'll stick with the options for now. Converting at a 5% discount is attractive, but I would lose the gearing.

    BTW, my maths was a little on the 'enthusiastic' side in the start of this thread: Asuming the options appreciate in lockstep with the heads, it will take a 100% heads increase to give me a 200% profit. still not bad.

    It would be nice (for me) if we could see the heads at 60 cents by the 19th of Jan. I am currently in a tax free environment and will have to pay CGT on all gains made after I return to Australia on the 20th of Jan. Being $71k ahead before the tax issue affects me will make it all easier to bear.

    Have a good one tonight and a great 2007. Between GDN and NWR, I'm hoping to clear my mortgage by the end of the year, if not January. Now that would be a good year!
