Sometimes we just need to sit still.


We waited for an arduous 5 full months....we heard very little, some were proclaiming the sky is falling on our chicken heads...but a lot just sat quietly without comment. They knew we had strong data, they knew we had data never ever seen where many had previously failed. They knew our data was safe while others might have had fairly ok data but had safety issues. They knew our drug worked broadly and comprehensively. Not without any side effects but certainly without major AE's and certainly no fatalities.

They knew the one rat that we saw a problem with had a massive dosing many times more than what we would subject any human patient to.

They observed that our data wasn't just prolific in the analgesic side, it made a difference to the average patient from a structural side and that too wasn't a sighting over years...it was within a short 6 month window.

Finally after 5 months we got the feedback, The 2 x 2 wasn't going to be a problem.


Now I find myself again waiting...I need to take up mediation...but if I did this I wouldn't research PAR and it's molecule half as much.


This waiting now is MUCH easier...we are thru the major hurdle...the next one is the submission of the formal IND revision. We also need to wait for funding but perversely, this doesn't bother me as much though time is ticking. I can't see how there is NO ONE IN THE WORLD that won't back us once that IND is open.

We just need to do a P3 and we will have, what I personally think and without advice is, one of the greatest drugs on the planet, certainly for OA...but for potentially a lot more indications, too many for me to be able to wrap my small, small mind around.
