A couple of facts to note when making comparisons with Olympic Dam (which is what CZN are doing) :-

1975
The first drill hole (RD1) in the new search is located near the Olympic Dam stock watering hole on Roxby Downs station. Sub-economic copper minerals are discovered at depths of more than 300 metres.

2005
BHP Billiton acquires Western Mining in a $9 billion takeover bid and begins a major drilling program to boost ore reserves.

2010
The Olympic Dam Story estimates Olympic Dam is now the world’s largest mineral deposit, with an in-ground value of $US863 billion. Subsequent increases in commodity prices lift the estimated value to $US1,286 billion by year end.

I guess times have changed and things will probably happen a lot quicker if the results are good. Will be interesting to watch.

The reason for this post is that I was not sure exactly what a comparison to Olympic Dam meant (i.e. what is the value and timeline of Olympic Dam). Whats the name of that song again - Blue Sky Mining...
