I only just discovered this week that HCF has closed its office in Bowral. So that's 3 or 4 people out of a job. Now they want you to use snail mail or the phone app for claims. Well, to be fair, most claims are processed through hospitals or practitioners But I followed the phone app this week, took a photo of the receipt and sent it in that way. Next thing an email to say the photo wasn't clear enough. I'm surprised they didn't say you have to use the latest iPhone. In the end they denied the claim anyway and I couldn't be bothered pursuing it.
