Wonder how the public would have reacted if Susssssan said, yes, dishonest decision of mine. Indeed, I feel so poorly about my own behaviour and because I wish to demonstrate my sincerity in caring for the taxpayer in this position of high civic responsibility I will treble all the travel expenses and pay them back. Given that I can buy an expensive apartment on a whim, I can certainly afford to do so. Moreover, should any further whiff of dishonesty on my part ever again, I will step down, given that Malcolm has not sacked me this time around. He should have done so, and I apologise with sincerity to the Australian people. I have not lived up to the high standards which this position requires of me.
