I don't know if you have worked where you had a expense account but I have for a short time with a company car and there was always oversight
Where the car went and how much fuel was used, it's condition and appearance.
Money was spent by me and then repaid by the company (this was before extensive credit card use ) each item had to be documented and justified
In other words "there is no free lunch" I had an expense account and I used it but I also knew that everything would be checked for authenticity
This obviously does not happen to politicians, when we hear of a problem it is only due to a reporter or a whistle blower bringing it to our attention
There is no control on politicians spending at all, why not?
This is not a Liberal thing, this is across the whole political spectrum and just shows abysmal lack of bureaucratic management
