i have been somewhat bemused since the initial float with negative sentiment toward MPL, it makes me laugh with some commentators still saying it was a bad buy, despite investors sitting on 25% profit. I think one commentator even had big air as a buy and medibank as a sell, guess only time will tell.
history suggests that most companies once going private perform well , there are not many examples of the reverse, it doesn't guarantee success but odds are in favour of MPL in my view
MPL is the largest and fattest in a sector that has momentum so this is one i plan on keeping for sometime yet. The potential upside in my view outways taking a small stag profit.
