    Why does the mixture need to Maple syrup ? Can it not be other type of sugar(s) ?
    How does the maple syrup get into the blood ?
    What about the Sodium bicarbonate, wouldn't the hydrochloric-acid in the stomach break it down into salt and carbon-dioxide ?
