    It is not likely to be resolved this week, the EBA negotiations are dragging on for over a year now.

    Checked with friend inside qan and according to him the above articacle is overstating the situation.

    Protected Industrial Action is due to start on 15 May.
    At this stage ALAEA (union) directed all members to start refusing to accept overtime on their days off.
    They can accept or refuse if overtime is requested by company while the engineers are at work.
    They can also accept or refuse higher duties at this stage and no stopwork meetings are planned unless a member engaged in Industrial Action is stood down by the company.

    This may escalate in future, but at this stage it is pretty mild Industrial Action, mainly designed to show that the members really mean business.

    Qan has number of contractors with licences on stand-by.
    They have been hired around XMASS for six month for $100,000 each. So far they just have been standing by, but can be called upon if needed.

    So the sky is not likely to fall in on 15 May but SP may be affected by these articles, I guess.
