    If what you say is to be believed, can you please explain why Julia Gillard said on 16th August "There will be no carbon tax under the government I lead."

    I cannot recall ANY further discussion or advice from the ALP government prior to the election that they were going to change tack without consulting the people.

    So please enlighten me how we voted for the carbon price as you put it.
