Hearing Aids & Brainchip Akida, page-101

Firstly, I have only skimmed this thread, so hope I don't miss something.

My wife is an audiologist. Hearing aid products have a very fast turn around so I would expect a product to be on market in a much shorter time frame to many other products that may incorporate akida. Most companies fully replace their products lines every 3-5 years. So the 3 year timeline is very realistic.

AI is a big trend in hearing aids and given the size and power restrictions is an ideal market full of expensive products (top end aids are easily $8k+)

Any talk of Cochlear though is uninformed. They do not make hearing aids which are suited to akida, nor in the ear type products. It's just not the market i would expect them to be making a move in, as it is not a consumer market where we can expect to make $. I'd be looking for a company such as Starkey who are very big players and market leaders in AI powered hearing aids. These are top end products, think Mercedes of hearing aids.
