The State Engineer, Utah Division or Water Rights, will hold a hearing on the protests of Utah Energy Corporation's request an appropriation of water for the operation of the Daneros Uranium Mine. The hearing will be held at 8:30 a.m. on October 1, 2009, at the Grand County Council Chambers, 125 East Center, Moab, Utah.

MINE INFORMATION

The Daneros Mine Project is an underground uranium mine in Bullseye Canyon, off of Hwy. 95 in western San Juan County. It is made up of 65 mining claims on Bureau of Land Management land.
