In a round about way Heartware may have saved its once arch rival VCR by accepting the $282 million dollar offer from Thorec.
Ihave been told that Amiod was only offering $75 million at the time it was talking with VCR. The directors were asking $140 mill. Now they have ammended the asking price to $210 mill and are back in talks with Amoid.
