heart failure cure rate of 25%???

Two of the patients have now been successfully weaned from the device following significant improvements in both heart failure NYHA classification, ejection fractions, and heart failure related symptoms; while a third patient is in the process of being weaned."

Thats 20 put on the device and 5 patients either weaned totally or being weaned. The best thing about this is that if a patient does struggle again they can just turn the machine back on... Its not like a VAD where the device is either implanted and doing everything or explanted and you have no safety net.

I personally think this is the biggest factor from this update. One or two patients can just be chance when working with a cohort of 20 and heart failure (heart failure has been known to sponataneously improve for no real reason). However 5 of 20.... That highlights just how big this is.
