This is what MSB found in their phase 2 trial from memory. The left ventricle function was not improved (which was what they were looking at and hoping for) but it was noticed that their was a decrease in MACA events. This was criticized as data mining when it was really noticing the outcome of the trial of a new science in which one does not know exactly what to expect.

Fair points, but even if we accept that the data mining was valid, that still leaves the problem that the HF-MACE signal could easily be explained by the lack mismatch in the controls.http://circres.ahajournals.org/cont...CIRCRESAHA.115.306332.DC1/306332R2_Online.pdf Class III NYHA (marked limitations, comfortable only at rest), whereas only 20% of the 150m treatment group were - 80% were class II (mild symptoms only) . This is further backed up by the 6-minute walk tests in the same link.
