I had a cardiac 3.5 yrs ago and stented. I've learnt that the only person who has a care factor after you leave hospital is yourself. As much as I'm truly grateful to the ambulance guys and the doctors at the hospital...follow up is non existent. I had to remind my doctor that Ramipril is only for 12 months (the alleged high risk period post attack) and my questioning led to a stress perfusion test (that sucker tests your heart alright!)
