This will happen trillions of years from now?

Apparently long after all the stars have burnt out, matter will be scattered so far apart that the actual protons and neutrons will also decay.

And all light will be redshifted so far, it will cease to exist. Because the universe is expanding and that expansion is accelerating not slowing.

The Universe will cool down to absolute zero.

Time will stop, because there will be no reference, no change, no movement or vibration.
