How about all components of the universe will decay (except photons) until only electromagnetic radiation is left?
If time and space cease to exist as a consequence then the radiation will be confined to a singularity - and will be the source of a Big Bang and a universe will be (re)born. Time and space would not be a continuum but would have to start afresh.
Science fiction?
