I actually read it was 14 days here on HC. I cannot find the post, but I do recall that the poster copied and pasted the ruling from either asic or asx website. However, after doing my own research to try and answer the question I simply cannot find anywhere where it states 14 days must pass between directors purchasing and further price sensitive information. I suppose after reading that post which contained the information I did not question it because it just seems logical. Imagine a director selling his/her share then 2 days later the company goes into liquidation, that's why I never doubted the 14 day claim. Furthermore I don't question and research everything that I read, simply because I would be spending my whole life researching and doubting everything anyone says. So apologies to you and others because I think you are right.
