Bit surprised that we haven't had a plethora of outlandish claims about power stations being shut down and whether we can cope in the heatwave ( couple of hot days ) that Victoria is about to experience .
Couple of days around 40 deg which is hot for Melbourne and it's during the week , albeit some people are still on holidays .
For me it will be a good test of whether some sensible planning by AEMO and some improved policy by the government will be enough to get us through this period . We should be able to prove one way or another whether we have closed too much fossil generation and whether renewables can cut the mustard .
