its a bot. For example he bids say 1.5m early in the auction. People see there are buyers and the indicated match price is 1.6. So they put in sell orders at 1.5, the indicated match price is still 1.6. Say they put in 1m sell orders for 1m.
Up until 4:09:44 he keeps will keep the match price at 1.6c. before 4:09:45 he will adjust his volume such as to match it at 1.5. in this case it would be by changing his buy volume to 999 999 units. Ofcourse you can try and change your volume too.. but are you really going to be able to beat a bot for speed?
He's playing a probability game. Theres a decent sized bid at 1.5 he will try and sell 1.6 tm knowing that he can probably sell at 1.5 if need be.
