I think getting legal advice not a bad idea.
However a cheaper halfway house might be, for a woodlot investor, contacting[in writing] the "independent entity" which is responsible for their woodlot management and asking the questions
In the present situation, any response is likely to be accurate[it would be, if I had to sign on the bottom of the page].
No response at all would probably suggest it was info they didn't want to give out.
Another option might be to see if the firm mentioned in my previous post has given the matter any thought.
